Take time out with Newt and his irrepressible gang of kids and critters. They may be barely surviving childhood; but in this corner of the neighborhood, their madcap antics rule!
Worth Gowell was born in Portland, Maine, but also spent his formative years in Georgia, Virginia, and New York. In grade school Worth gained slight notoriety--and detention--for his caricatures of teachers. His comic strip in Northwestern University’s student newspaper was honored by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association; and his most recent work, Small Wonder, has been featured in Jokester Magazine and Michael Jantze’s The Norm Magazine.
Worth and his family now live near Chicago; along with Newt, Jackie, Carver, raccoons, skunks, maniacal birds, a mangy cat, and more bunnies than you can shake a stick at. He credits his children with being a constant source of perspiration.
